Hi, Talk Cake's very first blog. How exciting! I was very keen to start this blog as I think it's going to be an amazing outlet for me to express all of the wonderful emotions that a cake decorator feels towards a cake that you cannot necessarily express towards a client. However I will start with a short blog and slowly blog by blog I will develop further into the Talk Cake Kitchen, introducing you to the decorators and showing you the roles that each individual plays to make Talk Cake work.
Over the past few weeks at Talk Cake we have been busy decorating gourmet cupcakes for our wholesale range that we provide to many cafes and restaurants. One of our wholesale clients, Schokolade in Wantirna South, have been amazing and organised fundraising towards the breast cancer foundation. In conjunction with Schokolade, Talk Cake produced 150 cupcakes for sale through the cafe with all money raised going straight to the breast cancer foundation. Next year I hope to organise more volunteers and would love to put on a fundraising event with both Troy and Rochelle from Schokolade so that we can raise more money for this foundation.
